Welcome to the space for the faculty of basic sciences at the university of pamplona.

Our Faculty of Basic Sciences was created in May 2003 with an agreement made by the Superior Council (#066 – May 2003).  From then on, to reach our objectives, we have made the higher educational programs our priority of the highest level and quality formenting the formation of professionals with critical, investigative and innovative capacity.

Additionally, our work implies the generation of a benefit to the community and the region in agreement with our mission, promoting and managing alternatives with solutions to the different problems in the nation and thinking of the technological impact and the scientific divulgation, also proposals, that will contribute to the consolidation of our vision.

These reasons are what we have done to consolidate ourselves in the Northeastern region and in the country as an academic organization that is a leader int he generation of knowledge and in the scientific and investigative formation.
