DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PROTOTYPE FOR THE USE OF BIOGAS IN THE CURE OF VIRGINIA TOBACCO FOR FLUE CURED OVENS

Abstract: This paper presents preliminary results of the project "Design and construction of a prototype system for the use of biogas in the process of curing snuff Flue Cured Virginia furnace in the departments of Santander and Huila" The project aims to Snuff Production Chain for the energy use of a system of biogas generation and compression in the curing process of Snuff Virginia. The project aims to raise an alternative energy solution that offers a particular way and very creative solution to the problem of high production costs for the use of current fuels, mitigating current environmental problems generated by emissions during the trial.

Resumen: En este artículo se presentan los resultados del proyecto “Diseño y construcción de un sistema prototipo para el aprovechamiento de biogás en el proceso de curado de tabaco virginia para hornos Flue Cured en los departamentos de Santander y Huila.” Este proyecto está dirigido a la Cadena Productiva del Tabaco para el aprovechamiento energético a partir de un sistema de generación y compresión de Biogás en los proceso de curado de Tabaco Virginia. El objeto del proyecto es plantear una solución energética alternativa que ofrezca de forma particular y muy creativa solución al problema de los altos costos de producción por la utilización de los actuales combustibles, mitigando los actuales problemas ambientales por las emisiones generadas por los mismos durante el proceso.
