The journal of the Faculty of Engineerings and Architecture has as main objective, the diffusion of knowledge in the areas of the advanced technologies, this is a new version of the scientific journal Chíchira (ISSN 0122-9966) that was previously published by our old faculty.

This journal is a point of contact between the college students, engineers and investigators as much from the Faculty as from other foreigner Universities or of the Country, which have bows of works with the University of Pamplona. With this journal they have the oportunity to publish their researching results.

The journal proposes general and specialized articles and discusses topics such as Automatic Control, Automatization, Digital signal processing, Electronics, Electrical treat, Telecommunications, Systems and areas related to engineering. The journal has semester circulation with national and international covering.

With this publication is fullfilled one of the intentions of our university, to give to know and to cause the interchange of the new technologies for all the university and the industrial community.

The Institute of Investigation and Development of Applied Technologies (IIDTA) is in charge of the successful development of the journal, its director Ph.D. Aldo Pardo García is thankful to the authors by its contribution for the content of the same one, the reviewers and the publishing committee by all the conducted battles so that this edition has reached the required quality and its happy term.

The COLOMBIAN JOURNAL OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES is not in charge by the content of published articles.

La revista de la Facultad de Ingenierías y Arquitectura tiene como propósito la difusión de conocimientos en las áreas de las tecnologías de avanzada, esta es una nueva versión de la revista científica Chíchira (ISSN 0122-9966) que anteriormente publicaba nuestra antigua facultad.

Esta revista es un punto de encuentro entre los universitarios, ingenieros e investigadores tanto de la Facultad como de otras Universidades del País y el extranjero, que tienen lazos de trabajos con la Universidad de Pamplona, se les brinda la posibilidad de que se publiquen sus resultados investigativos.

La revista propone artículos generales y artículos especializados donde se tratan temas desde Control Automático, Automatización, Procesamiento Digital de Señales, Electrónica, Eléctrica, Telecomunicaciones, Sistemas y áreas a fines a la ingeniería. La revista tiene circulación semestral con cobertura nacional e internacional.

Se cumple con esta publicación seriada uno de los propósitos de nuestra universidad, el de dar a conocer y propiciar el intercambio de las nuevas tecnologías a toda la comunidad universitaria e industrial.

El Instituto de Investigación y Desarrollo de Tecnologías de Aplicadas (IIDTA) se encuentra a cargo del exitoso desarrollo de la revista, su director Ph.D. Aldo Pardo García agradece a los autores por su contribución al contenido de la misma, a los revisores y al comité editorial por todas las acciones realizadas para que esta edición haya alcanzado la calidad requerida y su feliz término.
