DESIGN OF A PROTOTYPE OF SOURCE OF PULSATING POWER FOR GALVANOPLASTY PROCESSES

Abstract: The process of galvanized uses techniques like the application of pulsating current. This incorporation is an objective of the project called, “Adaptación de la tecnología de corriente pulsante inversa para el mejoramiento del proceso de galvanoplastia en la empresa Fantaxía Ltda”. In order to develop the proyect it is necessary the design and implement a prototype of source. It is due to it is necessary to give the required signal in the load: alternating voltage (30 volts peak), current (1000 amperes in the load) and time (hundreds of milliseconds until the seconds).

Resumen: El proceso de galvanizado emplea técnicas como la aplicación de corriente pulsante, la incorporación de esta es un objetivo del proyecto, “adaptación de la tecnología de corriente pulsante inversa para el mejoramiento del proceso de galvanoplastia en la empresa Fantaxía Ltda.” Para su desarrollo se hace necesario el diseño e implementación de un prototipo de fuente que pueda entregar la señal requerida en la carga: voltaje alterno (30 voltios pico), corriente (1000 amperios en la carga) y tiempo (cientos de milisegundos hasta los segundos).
