DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF SIMULATORS FROM OUT OF SERVICE PLANES FOR PARKS OF DIVERSIONS ”

DISEÑO Y CONSTRUCCIÓN DE SIMULADORES A PARTIR DE AVIONES FUERA DE SERVICIO PARA PARQUES DE DIVERSIÓN

Abstract: commercial airplanes are receive as donations that fulfilled of their service life to recreational center. Generally the airplanes available are Boeing 727, Twin Otter or Fokker which have a capacity of 20 –150 passengers and a weight between 10.000 and 100.000 lb. The simulator, is a tool that allows to realism with experience the behavior of the airplane in flight. In this the translucent windows by flat screens of video are replaced that simulate a real flight. The airplane must move synchronously with different degrees depending on the complexity of the equipment and with the displayed video. A system as presented this operating at the moment in a recreational center to the east of Medellín.

Resumen: Los parques de diversiones reciben donaciones de aviones comerciales que cumplieron su ciclo de vida. Los aviones disponibles son por lo general Boeing 727, Twin Otter o Fokker los cuales tienen una capacidad de 20 -150 pasajeros y un peso entre 10,000 y 100,000 lb. El simulador, es una herramienta que permite experimentar con realismo el comportamiento del avión en vuelo. En este se reemplazan las ventanas translucidas por pantallas planas de video que simulan un vuelo real. El avión debe moverse con diferentes grados dependiendo de la complejidad del equipo y sincronizadamente con el video presentado. Un sistema como el presentado esta operando actualmente en un centro recreacional al oriente de Medellín.
