TECHNICAL LOSS REDUCTION USING CORRECTIVES STAGES FITTING – PHASE I

REDUCCIÓN DE PÉRDIDAS TÉCNICAS USANDO MEDIDAS CORRECTIVAS POR ETAPAS – FASE I

Abstract: This paper presents the results obtained in first stage of project “technical losses reduction using corrective measured by steps". The general problem to solve consists in developing a combined methodology that coordinates the implementation of measures for the reduction technical losses. Many measures can be taken, among them: i) transference of load (reconfiguration), ii) balance of phases, iii) optimal location of reactives, iv) replacement of conductors, v) conversion of single-phase and three-wire system to three-phase system and vi) modification of taps in distribution transformers. Here, first stage of project is implemented and consists in to apply novel and efficient techniques of optimization to solve steps: i), ii), iii) and iv) in disconnect form.

Resumen: Este artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos en la primera fase del proyecto “Reducción de pérdidas técnicas usando medidas correctivas por etapas” desarrollado en el convenio ISA-COLCIENCIAS-UTP. El problema general que se propone resolver consiste en desarrollar una metodología combinada que coordine la implementación de medidas para la reducción de pérdidas técnicas. Muchas medidas pueden ser tomadas, entre ellas: i) transferencia de carga (reconfiguración), ii) balance de fases, iii) ubicación óptima de capacitores, iv) reemplazo de conductores (reconductorización), v) conversión de alimentadores monofásicos y trifilares a trifásicos y vi) modificación de taps en transformadores de distribución. En este documento, se presenta una primera fase del proyecto consistente en implementar novedosas y eficientes técnicas de optimización combinatoria a la solución de las etapas: i), ii), iii) y iv) en forma desacoplada. Esta primera fase del proyecto tiene como objetivo escoger la técnica correcta de optimización que se ajuste a cada etapa y evaluar el impacto sobre las pérdidas de cada una de ellas. Finalmente, este artículo presenta algunos esquemas de optimización para coordinar la ejecución de las diferentes etapas.
