DEVELOP ADVANCE IN NEW STRATEGIES FOR ELECTRIC MACHINE CONTROL BASE ON DTC

AVANCES EN EL DESARROLLO DE NUEVAS ESTRATEGIAS DE CONTROL BASADAS EN DTC PARA MAQUINAS ELECTRICAS

Abstract: The integration of the existent developments in the areas as power electronics devices (as IGBTs), digital systems for supervision and control (microcontrollers, DSPs), new control procedures (Fuzzy Logic) and new electric machine control strategies (as Direct Torque Control, DTC), they allow us to develop novel applicable systems to the control of different electric machines. The Power Electronic Industrial Systems Group (GSIEP) of the Simón Bolívar University is currently working in several of these systems. To carry out the experimental tests, the GSIEP has developed a modular system called as Platform III whose description is presented in this paper.

Resumen: La integración de los desarrollos existentes en las áreas de dispositivos electrónicos de potencia (IGBTs), sistemas digitales para supervisión y control (microcontroladores, DSPs), nuevos procedimientos de control (Lógica Difusa) y nuevas estrategias aplicables al control de máquinas (Control Directo de Par, DTC), nos permiten desarrollar novedosos sistemas aplicables al control de diferentes máquinas eléctricas. El Grupo de Sistemas Industriales de Electrónica de Potencia (GSIEP) de la Universidad
Simón Bolívar está trabajando actualmente en varios de estos sistemas. Para realizar las pruebas experimentales, el GSIEP ha desarrollado un sistema modular llamado Plataforma III, cuya descripción se presenta.
