A HIGH IMPACT FAULT DETECTION AND DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM DESIGN FOR HIGH PRESSURE INDUSTRIAL BOILERS

Abstract: This paper presents a fault detection and diagnosis system design, using one of two methods of fault detection (physical redundancy and analytic redundancy), the diagnosis is carried out using statistical analysis packages, in which a database is created with significant samples of the fault behavior of the instrumentation associated to the level control in high pressure industrial boilers.

Resumen: En el siguiente trabajo se presenta el diseño de un sistema de detección y diagnóstico de fallas (SDDF), haciendo uso de dos métodos de detección de fallas (redundancia física y redundancia analítica), el diagnóstico se lleva a cabo a través de paquetes de análisis estadístico, en donde se crea una base de datos con muestras significativas del comportamiento de las fallas mas incidentes en la instrumentación asociada al control de nivel en calderas industriales de alta presión.
