Abstract: The lattice Boltzmann equation (LBE) method is an approximation based on kinetic theory, used to simulate flow in the fluid mechanics. In this method the fluid is modelled by particles moving on a regular lattice. At each time step particles propagate to neighboring lattice sides and re-distribute their velocities using a local collision phase. Therefore, in the method LBE the kinetic equation of particles velocity distribution function f(x,x,t) is solved. Where x is the special position, x is the particle velocity and t is
the time. The macroscopic properties of the fluid (like density r and velocity u) be obtained evaluating the hidrodynamics moments of the distribution function f.
