THE ONTOLOGIES DOMINANCE AS A MECHANISM FOR THE CONCEPTUAL MODEL IN THE ANALYSIS OF REQUIREMENTS FOR A VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY SYSTEM

Abstract: In the body of knowledge of software engineering one of the areas of analysis requirements appears within this area as a conceptual model subarea that helps understand the problem of the real world before starting with the design of the solution software. This document proposes a way of doing conceptual modelling through the domination of ontologies, identifying concepts and relationships of domination for the problem to improve understanding and unifying language among the different actors involved in the process of software development.

Resumen: En el cuerpo de conocimiento de la Ingeniería del software aparece como una de las áreas el análisis de requerimientos, dentro de esta área aparece el modelamiento conceptual como una subárea que ayuda a comprender el problema del mundo real antes de iniciar con el diseño de la solución de software. Este documento propone una forma de hacer modelamiento conceptual por medio de ontologías de dominio, identificando conceptos y relaciones del dominio del problema para mejorar la comprensión y unificar el lenguaje de los diferentes actores que intervienen en el proceso de desarrollo de software.
