Abstract: This paper presents a comparison of techniques (non-destructive, DC) for assessment of rate corrosion, galvanostatic pulse (PG) and linear polarization resistance (LPR), for steel (ASTM-A706) embedded in concrete. It was a fitting laboratory with uniform flow of current. Three different mixtures were manufactured conducting tests, the sizes of aggregates (size), the absorption, porosity and voids test, to finally carry out the tests and LPR and PG allowing the data to compare the techniques used. The results showed good correlations to the techniques discussed.
