PASCAL THEORY AS A SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTED BY DIGITAL FILTER FOR FILTERING NOISE GENERATED BY AN INDUCTION MOTOR SQUIRREL CAGE TYPE

TEORIA DE PASCAL COMO FILTRO DIGITAL IMPLEMENTADO POR SOFTWARE PARA EL FILTRADO DEL RUIDO GENERADO POR UN MOTOR DE INDUCCION TIPO JAULA ARDILLA

Abstract: This project deals with the implementation of the theory of Pascal's triangle as digital filter software used by the noise present in the samples of a data acquisition system. For sampling and testing of filtering the generated signal was captured by the starting of an induction motor squirrel cage built with a card using the PIC 18F452 microcontroller from MICROCHIP company and a graphical interface software using LabVIEW version 8.2. In processing the data with Pascal's theory improves the behavior of the signal by eliminating the background noise generated by the application system (product generated by engine noise) by filtering the number of samples acquired per unit time. And conclude that the more sample data and filtering with the mathematical model of the triangle signal obtained is improved.

Resumen: Este proyecto trata de la implementación de la teoría del triángulo de Pascal como filtro digital aplicado por software al ruido presente en la toma de muestras de un sistema de adquisición de datos. Para la toma de muestras y prueba del filtrado se capturó la señal generada por el arranque de un motor de inducción tipo jaula ardilla con una tarjeta construida empleando el microcontrolador PIC 18F452 de la empresa MICROCHIP y una interfaz gráfica utilizando el software profesional LABVIEW versión 8.2. En el procesamiento de los datos con la teoría de Pascal mejora el comportamiento de la señal eliminando el ruido de fondo generado por el sistema de aplicación (ruido producto generado por motor), filtrando el número de muestras por unidad de tiempo adquiridas. Evidenciándose que entre más datos de muestra tomada y filtrando con el con el modelo matemático del triángulo se mejora la señal obtenida.
