MUSIC ALGORITHM SIMULATION FOR UNIFORM LINEAR ARRAY OF SMARTS ANTENNAS

SIMULACION DEL ALGORITMO MUSIC PARA UN ARREGLO LINEAL UNIFORME DE ANTENAS INTELIGENTES

Abstract: This paper presents the design and the simulation of a uniform linear array of smart antennas, using the MUSIC algorithm (Multiple Signal Classification) to obtain the angular position of users. The specific application is the Wideband Code Division Multiple Access, which with the introduction of the Third Generations Systems promises better experience for the users supported by smart antennas technology.

Resumen: Este artículo presenta el diseño y simulación de un arreglo lineal uniforme de antenas inteligentes, usando el algoritmo MUSIC (Clasificación de Señal Múltiple) para obtener la posición angular de los usuarios. La aplicación específica es el Acceso Múltiple por División de Código, que es la introducción a los sistemas de Tercera Generación que prometen mejor experiencia para los usuarios soportados por la tecnología de antenas inteligentes.
