PLUVIOGRAPH ELECTRONIC WITH WIRELESS DATA TRANSMISSION

PLUVIÓGRAFO ELECTRÓNICO CON TRANSMISIÓN DE DATOS INALÁMBRICA

Abstract: This work corresponds to the implementation of an electronic system adaptable to a Hellman rain gauge, with the aim of acquiring data from atmospheric precipitation affecting the study area, using a wireless communication system and an application control software, storage and analysis of data. To achieve these processes are done through the implementation of an electronic circuit, also wireless transmission devices with Wi-Fi, and a software application designed in PHP programming language, which can be installed on a computer Web page server. The information obtained from atmospheric precipitation is presented in a Web page, which can be queried for current and historical data of rainfall recorded by the gage, displaying graphics as pluviograph charts, hyetograph, accumulated precipitation, intensity-duration curves, among others.

Resumen: Este trabajo corresponde a la implementación de un sistema electrónico adaptable a un pluviógrafo tipo Hellman de sifón automático, con el objetivo de adquirir los datos de la precipitación atmosférica que afecta la zona de estudio, haciendo uso de un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica, y una aplicación software para el control, almacenamiento y análisis de los datos. Para llevar a cabo estos procesos se implementa un circuito electrónico, dispositivos de transmisión inalámbrica con tecnología Wi-Fi y una aplicación software diseñada en lenguaje de programación PHP, que puede ser instalada en un equipo servidor de páginas Web. La información obtenida de la precipitación atmosférica se presenta en una página Web, en la cual se pueden hacer consultas de los datos actuales e históricos de la precipitación registrada por el pluviógrafo, desplegando gráficas como Pluviogramas, Hietogramas, Curvas Masa, Curvas Intensidad-Duración, entre otras.
