DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A QUALITY ANALYZER EQUIPMENT FOR ELECTRIC POWER

Abstract: This paper designs a computer capable of monitoring the grid and measure major disturbances that affect a network. The prototype is based on an embedded system type Via Epia-MS, a data acquisition card, probes (voltage and current) and developed a software tool using Matlab Data Acquisition. The graphical interface produces a user friendly environment for viewing and handling. On the other hand, the system allows the user to submit a report which shows the time of occurrence of disturbances in the grid.

Resumen: En este trabajo se diseña un equipo capaz de monitorear la red eléctrica y medir perturbaciones importantes que afectan una red. El prototipo se fundamenta en un sistema embebido tipo Via Epia-MS, una tarjeta de adquisición de datos, sondas de medición (tensión y corriente) y se desarrolla un software utilizando la herramienta Data Adquisición de Matlab. La interfaz gráfica produce un entorno amigable al usuario para la visualización y el manejo del equipo. Por otro lado el sistema permite entregar un reporte al usuario donde muestra la hora en que ocurrieron las perturbaciones en la red eléctrica.
