“ENERGY SAVER” DIGITAL CONTROL OF A SINGLE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR USING A DSP

Abstract: This paper focuses on the study of different control techniques applied to other
single phase induction for optimal performance and reduce levels of disturbance caused
by these machines in industry or home. This work implements the control of a single
phase motor speed induction by two types of controls: the first called control voltage /
frequency and the second control called proportional and integral (PI). The system
controller implemented with a DSP 56F8322, which is developed low level programming
and running modules display of speed and control parameters.

Resumen: El presente artículo se centra en el estudio de las diferentes técnicas de control
aplicadas a motores monofásicos de inducción para obtener un óptimo desempeño y
reducir los niveles de perturbaciones ocasionados por estas máquinas en la industria o el
hogar. En este trabajo se implementa el control de velocidad de un motor monofásico de
inducción mediante dos tipos de controles: el primer control denominado
tensión/frecuencia y el segundo control denominado proporcional e integral (PI). El
controlador del sistema se implementa con un DSP 56F8322, donde se desarrolla la
programación en bajo nivel y se ejecutan los módulos de visualización de velocidad y los
parámetros de control.
