ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CONTROL USING FUZZY LOGIC APPLY TO AN FIELD ORIENTED CONTROLLED INDUCTION MOTOR

Abstract: This paper deals with the design, analysis and simulation of an induction motor speed control system using a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC). This starts from the simulation of the induction motor with the field oriented control (Vector Control) with the adequate coordinate transformation (rotor flux). The direct field oriented control method was the selected scheme for the simulation. The fuzzy speed controller design was shown and the resulting system was simulated in closed loop. Finally, the simulation results of the speed control system with the fuzzy logic controller was compared and analyzed with the simulation results of the same system with a classical digital PI controller.

Resumen: Este trabajo se basa en el diseño, análisis y simulación de un sistema de control de velocidad del motor de inducción utilizando un Controlador por Lógica Fuzzy (FLC). Se empieza desde la simulación del motor de la inducción en campo orientado (Control Vectorial) en lazo abierto escogiendo la transformación de la coordenada adecuada (flujo del rotor). El método de control por campo orientado seleccionado fue el método directo. Se ilustra la metodología de diseño del controlador Fuzzy, y se simula el sistema resultante en lazo cerrado. Finalmente, se compara los resultados de la simulación obtenida con la del mismo sistema pero con controlador PI discreto clásico.
